Course Objectives:

By the end of the course, participants will be able to:

• Rapidly and accurately assess trauma patients, initiate resuscitation, and stabilize them according to priority.
• Identify patient needs and resources, and make appropriate arrangements for definitive care and transfer.
• Ensure optimal patient care and apply the principles of primary and secondary assessment.
• Prioritize management and initiate both primary and secondary interventions.
• Demonstrate the essential skills required for the assessment and management of critically injured patients.
